Users running version of CCleaner or CCleaner Cloud, released on August 15th, 2017 Since many users likely use the 64-bit version of the application, and CCleaner Free does not automatically update, this is good news for a lot of people. It started on August 15 and has been stopped on September 12. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote non-authenticated attacker via the Internet. Piriform has officially confirmed the security incident with CCleaner and CCleaner Cloud.
